JML Increases Capacity and Capability with OptiPro CNC Equipment

We continue to invest in order to keep up with our customers’ increasing demands for precision optics. 

Igor Yashchenko (JML Optical), Steve Burton (JML Optical), Adam Dunn (OptiPro) and Pat Bechtold (OptiPro) with the two OptiPro machines recently installed at JML Optical.

The addition of Optipro’s eSX 150 CNC Optical Grinder and ePX 200 CNC High Speed Spherical Polisher provide a number of significant improvements:

• reduce cycle time by up to 30%
  
• achieve tighter surface specifications
• edge optics at the same time they are polishing without breakdown and set-up
• polish steeper radius optics

In June 2012 we added significantly to our  manufacturing capabilities.  The satisloh® CM-2 provides us with enhanced and automated optical centering capabilities.  We have already seen the benefits of greater accuracy and higher throughput.
